Growing up in Devon I have heard many stories from people who have been touched by the tragedy of illness but who have gained much support and comfort from the staff and services offered by Rowcroft. I am lucky enough to have not been personally touched and in need of such support but do not want to take it for granted that this will be there without recognising the support/dedication and requirement of such organisations and wanting to play a small part in thanking and supporting such people. I also feel the walk is a fantastic way to support and remember loved ones in a positive and uplifting way and to show our respect and care for those who have suffered illness and bereavement.
